Why the Shower?
There's something uniquely relaxing about warm water running over you. The shower is private, soothing, and sensual — and because you're already there to get clean, there's zero fuss afterward. It's the perfect low-pressure place to slow down and focus on yourself.
Reach for a Waterproof Toy
This is the golden rule of shower play: only bring in toys that are clearly rated waterproof or submersible. Plenty of favorites are made for exactly this — waterproof vibrators, wands, and strokers like the shower-ready one Sunny shows in the video. Many even suction or hang right on the wall so they're easy to reach.
Switch to Silicone Lube
Here's a tip that makes all the difference: water actually washes away water-based lube, so it won't last under the spray. A silicone-based lube stays slick even in the shower, so everything glides the way it should. (Just remember silicone lube and silicone toys don't mix — pair it with glass, metal, or ABS toys instead.)
Don't Forget the Showerhead
A handheld or adjustable showerhead with a pulse setting can be a wonderful source of external stimulation all on its own. Keep the water pressure gentle and the sensation external — never aim high pressure internally — and let the warm water do the work.
Safety First
Wet surfaces get slippery, so take your time. A non-slip mat, sitting down, or bracing yourself against the wall keeps things safe so you can fully relax and enjoy. And when you're done, give your toys a rinse, let them dry completely, and store them away.
